A few more answers.
What is MCP?
MCP is a connection standard that lets AI assistants work with tools in other applications. In Posteria, it connects to the content, inbox and task workflows you authorize.
Do I need another API key?
You do not need to add a separate AI API key to Posteria for this connection. Use the assistant in your ChatGPT or Claude account and link Posteria through OAuth. Your assistant's account and plan conditions still apply.
Will the records appear on the web and mobile?
Yes. MCP does not create a separate calendar or task system. Content and tasks use the same records as Posteria's web and mobile applications.
Does creating content mean it is already published?
A draft or scheduled record does not mean the post is live on a social platform. Ask your assistant to check the actual publication result.
What if new tools are missing?
Refresh Posteria's tool list in your assistant. Reauthorize the permissions needed for the new actions and try a new conversation.
Does deleting content also remove a published social post?
Deleting through MCP removes the Posteria draft or calendar record and cancels its pending publication job. It does not mean that a published post has been removed from the social platform.
